Heather and Aaron are quite the artful couple. Heather’s a musician who’s personality is magical…there’s no other way to describe her! She just has such an amazing energy and we connected from the very beginning. Aaron is a very talented artist himself and helped established a local collaborative gallery – Tangent Gallery. Together they are quite the creative powerhouse! Heather and Aaron decided early in the planning stages that they wanted to be surrounded by their closest friends and family for their intimate ceremony at their home. So with 20 of their closest guest they opened their home and shared their I do’s.
Heather wore a beautiful J.Crew wedding gown…it was perfect for her!
A cute hair piece found on Etsy!
Heather wore vintage boots that belonged to Aaron’s grandfather who had recently passed…of course you can’t forget six pence in the shoe for good luck too!
Heather’s maid of honor designed the bouquet and boutonniere…so cute and crafty!
A glimpse of their close friend who introduced the couple and made this day possible!
The backdrop for their wedding was a work of art in itself. Each piece was handcut from felt and applied to the wall individually…stunning!
Balloons filled with handcut confetti fly through the air after the I do’s!
Their neighborhood is filled with canopies of trees…I love the yummy backdrop they make!
We just happened upon this vintage truck in the neighborhood and couldn’t resist a smooch and a pic!
The couple ended the evening with dinner at their favorite restaurant – Tower Cafe. If you haven’t been to brunch here…it’s a foodie must!
We were super excited to find out Borrowed and Bleu wedding blog wanted to feature Heather and Aaron’s intimate ceremony with the world! You can check out more photos and their story here!
