Sometimes you meet a person and wish your paths crossed sooner than they did but so thankful they crossed at all. Dena with Throne Invitations is that type of friend. We actually met completely by chance when we were both in the same personal training group with our fierce trainer Coach Keali’i…or Coach K as we lovingly call him. We definitely bonded quickly over countless bicep curls, lunges and other insane exercises he put us through! Through all those early sessions together Dena often talked and dreamed about one day leaving behind the graphic design day job to follow her heart and open her own design and stationary business. After months of talking, planning, plotting…and more talking…she finally made the leap! And good gracious… is she flying!
Yes…Dena designs beautiful wedding stationary for so many lucky couples, but she is so much more than that. She is such a strong woman with a great heart, beautiful laugh, awesome sense of humor and always ready for a great adventure and a good love story. And if you have the chance to chat with her…definitely ask her about her Greek roots. You might even get some of her mama’s homemade baklava…if you’re lucky 🙂

* Dena Argyropoulous was born in Greece and her last name means silver bird.
* She started her business after designing over the top invitations for her sisters wedding. They were so well reveived that she had brides requesting her to design something just as fabulous for their own wedding – and thus…Throne Invitations was born!
* She LOVES designing for themed weddings.
* What’s trending in her opinion for 2014? Laser cut! They are a little more of an investment but definitely have a WOW factor when received. Also, invitation suites are incorporating lots of embellishments.
* When not designing for brides…this girl can be found at the gym or catching up on good books.
* Next dream travel destination…Thailand!
* Fave movie…Harry Potter (would never have guessed that!)
