Mike and Kristin met at a local downtown Sacramento tavern called the Pine Cove which Mike owns. If you’re a local and haven’t been…you should stop in for a drink and congratulate him! I definitely have had a few drinks and consumed more popcorn there than I should have in my youthful days. Back to the love story…so Mike met Kristin at the tavern and they have been inseparable ever since. My heart went pitter patter when I got the call from Mike telling me he was getting married and eloping as well! Since having eloped myself, I have a fond place in my heart for those that choose this route and making it as special as possible. So Monday was the day…
We headed down to the County office and they signed all the official paperwork so they could say I do!
What makes this story even sweeter is having their two RIDICULOUSLY adorable daughters there to share the day with them. Bailey is quite the little tornado of cuteness and energy all wrapped up in a cute pink dress.
Watch out world…!!
Little baby Jonah is nothing but smiles. Her little dimples and big eyes melt my heart every time I see her.
Little Jonah’s dimples remind me of my Cabbage Patch dolls from my childhood…she is so stinkin cute!
It was attack of the Bailey kisses on grandma…poor little Jonah got caught in the crossfire!
Now on to the happy newlyweds! It so happened that the day Mike and Kristin got married was also the day that the Amgen Race was ending at the State Capitol so we had a small window of opportunity to dodge cyclists and rain drops that day…but love prevailed and we were able to capture some amazing moments together.
I love how much they make each other smile and laugh…I swear laughter cures all!
This is my absolute favorite image of them…as if their hearts will never let go.
Thank you so much Mike and Kristin…it was an honor to capture your elopement! I can’t wait for the reception in the fall on the Delta King…these two will be a blast!
