After their very sweet Scribner Bend ceremony Courtney and Shawn were ready to drink some of the house vintage, and join their friends and family. I just love this DIY welcome sign that Shawn constructed and was hand painted by Allie, our officiant’s girlfriend.
The winery bungalow was the perfect backdrop for this adorable bridal party to hang out!
Aside from making beautiful welcome signs, Shawn is pretty handy in the couple’s home renovations they’re working on. Their home is a space for the newlyweds to collaborate on projects, cook dinner together, and snuggle with their pups.
This huge reception barn is actually 100 years old — and makes a fabulous bar and dance floor area! With the lovely market lights, it made for a perfectly rustic reception.
I just love how this wedding tent lights up at night!
If you didn’t already think that Shawn was a very crafty groom, he also made this beautiful wood cut cake topper! Courtney really scored in the handy husband department. And everyone knew these lovebirds were going to play dirty with cake cutting.
These signs are a 2016 wedding season staple — both cute and hilariously true as evidenced below!
While Courtney and Shawn have very different music tastes, they do agree on the air-guitar inducing power of Journey. Which is something everyone can agree on!
Congratulations Courtney and Shawn! Always take the time for DIY house projects, lake-side hikes, and puppy love!
