After their intimate beach-side vows in Hawaii, Alexis and Spencer chose the Crocker Art Museum to throw their reception for friends and family. These lovebirds are huge art lovers, so the museum was a perfect mix of modern and historic to celebrate their nuptials!
Our newlyweds kept joking about how they should just buy all the beautiful art — little did I know that they recently added to their collection from the museum’s annual auction!
I simply needed a silhouette of Alexis’ gorgeous structured hair — we actually met her stylist Neil at our Westin Ballroom wedding a few weeks before. Mr. SooHoo sure knows his sexy wedding hair!
Our lovebirds met at Alexis’ family restaurant, Casa Ramos. She served a very handsome regular named Spencer, not knowing that he would one day be her hubby! They’ve bonded over their love of fitness, art, and of travel — Spencer said that he knew she was The One since their first date.
The historic side of Crocker was perfect for their ballroom reception, both elegant yet intimate enough to celebrate with friends. Our bride and groom already had their Big Day, so they wanted their party to be special for the people closest to them.
I love love love the Crocker Art Museum. It makes my job a lot easier when there’s so much beautiful art for me to make art with!
Congratulations Alexis and Spencer!
